Baltic Tech Park representatives visited to the Karlskrona “Blue Innovation Day”, Sweden

At the Innovation Days that took place this year on 3–4 May in Karlskrona, Sweden, Baltic Tech Park CEO Šarūnas Butkus participated together with a delegation from the Klaipėda City Municipality headed by Saulius Budinas, director of the municipality administration.

During the conference, Mr Butkus presented the Klaipėda 2030 strategy and Baltic Tech Park initiatives and projects. Mr Butkus participated in discussions and meetings with the heads of the Karlskrona Municipality, the Saab Global Innovation Centre, Blue Science Park, and Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, Poland. The heads of the Karlskrona Municipality proposed that Baltic Tech Park set up a coworking space in the World Trade Centre, which is one of their sponsored projects, and Blue Science Park gave a presentation of the newly opened Underwater Research Centre, where it also collaborates with representatives of military institutions, business and academia.
